The wine

A well-balanced and nicely rounded wine, with good fruit expression and great bottle ageing potential.

(Label designed by José Manuel Broto.)

Opaque and garnet red in colour, this wine has plenty of fullness and complexity on the nose, with aromas of fruit preserves, fruits of the forest (blackberries and blackcurrants), with balsamic notes (mint) on a spicy background (vanilla, pepper and bay leaves). Structured on the palate and with fine quality tannins, it lingers well, accompanied by touches of toast and tobacco.

NOTE: About 30 minutes of aeration is recommended prior to serving. There is the possibility of sediment occurring; decanting slowly is advisable.

Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and subsequently for a further 24 months in bottle.
