The wine

This is an interesting blend comprising 40% each of Cabernet and Merlot, along with 10% of Tempranillo and the same of the local variety Moristel. The grapes, growing in the younger vineyards of Salas Altas and Barbastro, are harvested at night at their optimal ripening moment. Every effort to maintain their freshness is carefully considered in the production process, including lowering the must by gravity into tanks after fermentation.

An intense ruby red colour, the wine is clean and bright in appearance. The nose releases aromas of ripe red fruits, along with toasty and smoky nuances acquired through barrel ageing. Fresh and pleasant on the palate, it is lively and intense.

Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, with a further 6 months spent resting in bottle before release.

Parcels were looked for and acquired that would suit the needs of the different varieties chosen: from Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and...
