The estate's historic wine is Barolo Monfalletto, obtained from the careful assembly of most of the Monfalletto vineyards in the municipality of La Morra. The age of the vines (between 15 and 50 years) and exposures strictly between South / East and South / West, give valuable productions and harmonious ripening. The clayey and slightly calcareous soil gives elegance and complexity. All the various lots undergo a period of refinement in various types of wood, French and Slavonian for a period between 18 and 24 months, after which the final assembly and bottling takes place. One year later, the bottles are ready for marketing.
At sight it has an intense garnet red color; foloreal notes intertwine with fruity hints of cherry and raspberry and aromas of tobacco and cocoa, composing a rich, intense and full-bodied aromatic bouquet. The sip is warm and enveloping and the taste reproduces the olfactory sensations. Wine that goes perfectly with important game dishes: braised meat, roast meat and game. Superb with dishes enriched with Alba White Truffle: cardoon pie with fondue and duck ravioli.
