Details for Campogrande Liguria di Levante Telemaco 2015
Bottle size and vintage
The result of the experimentation of a white from the Cinque Terre aged in small oak, this wine owes its name to the great Florentine painter Telemaco Signorini, who fell in love with the Cinque Terre in 1860 and returned there every year. Telemachus is also a figure of Greek mythology. The son of Ulysses and Penelope never stopped looking for his father, who, after the Trojan War, wandered for years on the Mediterranean before returning home. The patience and persistence of Telemachus, the courage, inventiveness and tenacity of Ulysses are equally important for a winemaker who takes it into his head to make wine in the Cinque Terre.
