A great classic, almost a symbol of the denomination, Amarone Bertani expresses a garnet color and a very articulated nose, fruity with cherry, blueberry and currant jam, and dotted with cocoa, cinchona, cinnamon and rhubarb. Mineral and chalky in the background, it therefore also shows a certain minerality, which however announces a full and opulent but at the same time austere and balanced sip. Solid tannins and lively freshness, among the most significant in the category, for their part announce a sure and deep longevity.

Good but not the best Amarone
I'd heard that this wine was pretty famous. It was very good, but for the price I think there are better Amarones. Like L'Arco Amarone 2011 and Le Ragose Amarone Caloetto 2008!
