Shymer is the acronym of the two grapes that make up this intense red, Syrah and Merlot. A name that, in French, evokes the mythological figure of the chimera, a fantastic creature, symbol of dreams and desires that seemingly impossible, but which, far from preconceptions, the Marzotto family has managed to achieve thanks to wines such as Shymer. In this Sicilian red wine the floral notes are accompanied by those of red berried fruits, followed by those of oak wood, toasted bacon, coffee and, finally, the spicy ones of cinnamon, thanks to the aging in barrique. , vanilla and nutmeg. Shymer goes well with different types of savory dishes, such as meat stew, aged cheeses, mushroom risotto, pappardelle with meat sauce and Palermo-style meat rolls.
