The wine
Amic is a mature and original red with a rich and diverse aromatic element. Plum jam combines with some resinous notes to delight us with a fresh and very well-balanced nose. On the palate it's fluid and elegant, with good acidity and traces of orange peel in the background. The toastiness and spices derived from oak ageing give the finishing touches to a mineral, rounded and very satisfying wine.

The winery
Clos d'Agon - Mas Gil
Clos d'Agon (or Celler Mas Gil) is located about 5 km away from the coast, in the Baix Empordà district. Its vineyards lie on the hillside of the Les Gavarres Natural Park, a protected area that impedes any form of expansion. The new winery was built in 2003 and was designed by Chus Manzanares.
