Review

Founded in 1854, Allegrini is one of the companies that best exemplify the objective of producing wines that not only have a distinctive character but also international appeal. From being a small, family-run firm, the winery has extended its range of activity concentrating particularly on its Venetian origins, with the Corte Giara, and on its huge heritage in Tuscany, with the prestigious labels of Poggio San Polo.

The presence of the Allegrinis in Valpolicella has been documented since the sixteenth century. In recent times, the company, reborn thanks to the commitment of Giovanni Allegrini and his children Franco and Marilisa, has become one of the flagships for Amarone and for all the wines of the area, even from international grapes. From the splendid Palazzo della Torre, the family has based its production on the principles of technological innovation and respect for tradition, multiplying the labels but guaranteeing the highest quality in each of them.

Allegrini Valpolicella is a great classic, fresh and balanced, a red for all seasons that pleasantly brightens the table. Ruby red in color with violet hues, the nose expresses a fragrant fruity note dominated by cherry, which is echoed by fresh nuances of pepper and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is snappy and juicy, balanced, relaxed and of great gustatory delicacy. Excellent throughout the meal in combination with soups, pasta, white meats, roasted or grilled.

Un velours parfumé !

Un bouquet puissant et doux, surprenant pour un corps léger de jeune fruit rouge, velouté. Aucune acidité. Idéal sur du carpaccio, du poulet ou du rôti de boeuf.
