The three classic Champagne grapes
The three classic Champagne varieties are Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, three varieties which encapsulate its charms and feature in different proportions in most wines produced in the Champagne region. In some cases, they're bottled separately in order to showcase all their character. In this selection, we're suggesting three single varietal cuvées in which the grape is the real star: a Pinot Meunier brimming with fruit and loveliness, namely the Laherte Frères Les Vignes d'Autrefois, a profound and elegant Blanc de Blancs (a white wine made from Chardonnay grapes), such as the Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs, and an artisanal and refined Blanc de Noirs (a white Pinot Noir wine), which is the Pierre Paillard Blanc de Noirs Maillerettes.
