The wine
With the same passion and respect for tradition they show in all their wines, Vallformosa has created this Gran Reserva Cava to commemorate 150 years of history of the estate. A special anniversary the winery has chosen to celebrate with a top-quality Cava made with Xarel·lo from vines over 40 years old. This special edition brings together all the magic, spirit and know-how the winery is loved for.
What does this wine taste like?
Notes of white fruits gently blend in with aromas from its second fermentation. Elegant in the nose and notably complex, citrus and floral aromas deliver a fresh character. It has a smooth entrance with fine bubbles and a long and pleasant aftertaste. All in all, a splendidly rounded Cava with a well-balanced body, ideal for all kinds of meals but pairs particularly well with fish and shellfish.
