From the name of an Etruscan settlement of ancient origin, Hebo refers to the historical roots of Suvereto, and indeed it represents, in the Petra range, a homage to the territoriality of the Val di Cornia, where the international grapes, in osmosis with Sangiovese, boast a long history and are not your Johnny-come-lately. It is produced with a classic assembly of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and sangiovese, vines introduced in the area by Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, princess of Piombino since 1805 and enlightened woman of wine. Ruby red, the bouquet reveals fresh hints of black cherries, violets, blueberries, peonies, mineral hints and nuances of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate the wine is fresh, sapid, with a slender body, pleasantly fruity, subtle in its sapidity and with balanced and gentle tannins.

True super Tuscan with a nice price tag!

A super Tuscan -blend with nice body and juicy fruit. Overall quality is good. It's young, and needed a couple of hours decanting to balance the tannins. It's fine now with rare red meat, but a year or two in the cellar would make this even better.

Petra Hebo 2019

A great wine and excellent value for money compared to more expensive Super Tuscans.

Tolle Qualität, sollte aber noch nachreifen

Bin begeistert, tolle Nase, sollte mind. Preis-Leistung ist absolut i.O..
