The wine
Echezeaux has a pure ruby color, lively and deep, limpid, the nuances of which often vary on garnet, purple-purple hues. When young, it is open and presents aromas of vanilla, smoky, woody or roasted, red fruits, fresh cherry, rose or violet or even spices.
It is perfect after two or three years, then closes and reappears after five to ten years. Its great aromatic complexity makes it both spontaneous and feminine, subtle and refined with fine and delicate tannins and quite supple.
It expresses all the Burgundian complexity in its elegance and roundness, all the art of Pinot Noir on a predestined terroir.
