The wine
It bears the name of an illustrious ancestor of the Mazzei, Ser Lapo, a great wine connoisseur who for the first time in history used the definition "Chianti" to indicate a particular wine.
Deep ruby red and a fruity and spicy nose between notes of small black berries, vanilla, leather and licorice. On the palate it is muscular, taut and rightly tannic.
