Elegant, original wine with good structure and complexity. It is the archetype of Valpolicella described by Hemingway, "friendly as the home of a brother with whom you get along".

It is produced in the historic estates of the Serego Alighieri Counts which for over 650 years have represented the history, tradition and culture of Valpolicella. The style of the noble Casato is emphasized by the use of the exclusive Molinara clone Serego Alighieri and the aging in cherry barrels.

At sight it has an intense ruby red color, hints of wood and red fruits make up the aromatic bouquet. The sip is powerful with spicy and vanilla aftertaste, very elegant. table wine, excellent with grilled red meats, roasts and mature cheeses.
