La Serra, or the other side of Barolo Marcarini, takes its name from a historical area of ancient origin, whose soils, poor in organic substances, but rich in minerals and trace elements, are capable of giving wines of good color, well-structured, sapid and never excessively tannic. The particular microclimate is characterized by slight ventilation with movements of fresh and dry air.
It has a garnet red color, illuminated by ruby reflections with a very slight orange note. The bouquet is ethereal, fresh, elegant and very persistent, with flavors of violet, rose, licorice and sweet spices. Long and intense is the aromatic persistence. It should be served in crystal glasses with a very large glass.
