The wine

Tocai Friulano is the interpretation given by Lis Neris, a dynamic company located in the municipality of San Lorenzo Isontino, which sees the main grape of the region supported by a small percentage of Sauvignon and Riesling. The result is a wine that is an expression of the character that Alvaro Pecorari wanted to impress on his company, working to produce wines of great elegance and authenticity, which reflect the soil, culture and soul of the magical places where they come from. From the in-depth knowledge of the soil and climate environment, from the obsessive care of the vineyards and from winemaking methods to enhance all the efforts previously sustained, wines of the highest quality can be born, wines that, although white, are able to evolve over time, enriched with new and unexpected nuances.

Fiore di Campo is an intense straw yellow color and golden reflections are already visible. The bouquet, the name had already suggested it, is floral, herbaceous and also fruity; a lively citrus presence of grapefruit, lime and bergamot stands out, as well as plum and peach. Here and there, in a bunch of fresh aromatic herbs including basil, mint, sage, the jasmine and elderberry flowers peep out.

In the mouth this wine is crisp, fresh, fragrant and soft, with a savory note supported by an enveloping softness for a beautiful persistence and a characteristic almondy closure. Due to its characteristics, we recommend consuming it in combination with fish-based first courses such as tagliolini with crab sauce or risotto with gaberi.
