La Costa Brigante Rosso

A niche company, strictly organic, the reality of Claudia Crippa and Luca Bennato has been offering exceptional wines with personality for years along the steep terraces of Lecco. Brigante Rosso, among these, occupies a particularly experimental position: from great international grapes, treated in an integrated way and enhanced in an unprecedented terroir but with a long regional winemaking tradition, it rests for four months in cement and in bottles. Straightforward and immediate, it has a beautiful intense ruby color, and on the nose it releases hints of red pulp fruit and ripe berries. Fresh and savory, lacustrine and sunny, it is at the same time round and enveloping, both thanks to the optimal exposures and to the typicality of Merlot.
