The wine

Franz Haas likes to compare the Pinot Noir grape to a wild horse, elegant but difficult to tame; this man welcomes the challenge year after year, in search of a great result which, if not achieved, means that this wine is not even produced.

At sight it presents itself with the typical pale but brilliant ruby red color; on the nose, with a fruity bouquet of ripe undergrowth, spicy notes of leather and black pepper peep out. Excellent taste-olfactory correspondence; in the mouth it is soft, enveloping, elegant, fine and persistent. An austere wine, to understand, to listen, but certainly capable of seducing.

Enjoy it with feathered game, pheasant and duck, braised game, polenta with stewed venison.
