Cabernet from the Fèlsina house is, already in the glass, an explosion of harmonic sensations. With a compact and dense appearance in its impenetrable ruby, the nose releases vegetal sensations of unparalleled elegance, from cinchona to rhubarb, from juniper to laurel, which are accompanied by a fruity and floral texture reminiscent of blueberry, peony, cassis. In the mouth it reveals its Bordeaux temper, with a severe but integrated tannin, and with a heat perfectly balanced by the lively and perky freshness. The finish, mainly fruity and evolved, reveals a great persistence.

A nice tuscan wine
Nice dark red tuscan wine, a bit fruity. Finish not so great like the front, feels like it takes some years aging.
One of the best Super Tuscans I’ve ever tasted. Complex and structured. This is a wine that will keep for ten to fifteen years but is drinking well now. I recommend decanting as this wine still has deep tanins. Open and decant about two to three hours before drinking. Rich Berry fruit and bitter chocolate.
Love at first nose
Beautiful bouquet. Still not fully developed, probably needs some 3-5 years to peak, but enjoyable to drink already now after a couple of hours in the decanter..
World class Super Tuscan from probably my favourite Chianti producer. Great structure and concentration, silky and glossy, quite modern. Will age superbly.
Wie von Felsina nicht anders zu erwarten: ein toller Wein zu einem Top-Preis. Untypisch für die Toskana: kein Sangiovese (Fontalloro) aber ein rundum toller C.S.-Tropfen.
In Etruscan, Fèlsina means "place of hospitality and dining". And indeed right here, within the ancient walls of this farm that you must visit and experience, our customers have found one of the safest and most reliable ports of Chianti Classico, where the region on its border southward verges towards warmer climates and produces complex, full-bodied, velvety, smooth wines. In the Fèlsina winemaking tradition, there are no duds among the Castelnuovo barriques. The great Chianti...
