Farro Campi Flegrei Piedirosso

An ancient Phlegrean vine, already appreciated at the time of the Imperial Bay and also mentioned by Pliny. Tradition has it that it takes its name from the color of its stalk equal to that of the pigeon's leg and therefore locally known as Per'e Palummo. It is grown on an open foot. Ruby red color. On the nose there are smells of cherry, raspberry, rose. On the palate it is soft, full-bodied and well-blended tannins. It goes well with grilled meat and fish, aged cheeses and seasoned dishes.
