Details for Elio Altare Barolo 2013
Review
Elio Altare Barolo is a modern and rounded wine originating from the best crus possessed by the winery in La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga d'Alba and Barolo. Vinified separately and blended by the expert hands of its producer, after 2 years of ageing in old barrels the end result is a wine of great finesse and delicacy. On the nose, it emanates enveloping aromas of red fruit; on the palate, it reveals smooth tannins and a long finish with hints of violets.
