Pinot Noir Glen, which takes its name from the homonymous hamlet in the municipality of Montagna, is the only terroir wine of Cortaccia that does not come from the territory of the municipality itself. Pinot Noir is a very demanding vine and needs cool alpine microclimatic islands, with late sunrises and mild evenings of continuous sunshine so that the grapes and wine can develop and maintain their elegant subtlety. In the alternation of Mediterranean daily temperatures and nocturnal cooling, the aromas intensify, without losing the characteristic "Burgundian" subtleties. Pinot Noir Riserva Glen is characterized by a fresh and delicate scent and elegant sugars reminiscent of mallow. On the palate it is velvety and extraordinarily fragrant with berries, while hints of fresh raspberry berries and wild cherries give the discreet fructose a pregnant, delicately spicy character.
