Review

The Nù Litr Rosso undergoes spontaneous fermentation with five days' maceration on the skins in open vats and no filtration. A wild and genuine Negroamaro, dense and spicy, very elegant with a clean tannin that closes the palate leaving a clear memory of the sea. An incredible everyday wine of disarming temptation. Only stainless steel to create an illuminating taste profile.

    Big fan

Very big fan of the Calcarius, surprisingly strong in alcohol content, but very easy.

    Highly drinkable

Easy to drink, light bodied red, Calcarius are my favourite wines, and this is no exception. Go to for a good drink.

    Un vin frais

Qui se boit tranquillement entre amis, on le descend assez vite tout de même, on apprécie le côté roots, surtout au prix vinissimus.

    Excellent

Léger et fruité, parfait pour accompagner le fromage

    Calcarius

    Calcarius

Calcarius, or "limestone wines". Exactly, because the soil of Gargano, the northern corner of Puglia, is deeply calcareous, where the winemaker Valentina Passalacqua, from Puglia, and Danilo Marcucci started the project that bears this name. The municipality is Apricena, recognised as the most suitable in a region, Gargano, with wine potential that is not yet fully expressed. With 45 hectares of vineyards exposed mainly to the south-west and well ventilated, Calcarius is not ...
