The wine
Bruno Giacosa's Nebbiolo d'Alba is an elegant red wine; it is ruby red in color with reflections that tend to garnet. The nose is intense and broad on the nose, distinguishable hints of red fruits and floral notes of violets and roses. Memories of musk and spice. The sip is full and dry, well balanced by excellent freshness. Pleasantly tannic. Excellent in combination with red meat, game and game.
