Barco del Corneta La Silleria

The complex and layered 2020 Parajes Del Infierno La Sillería was produced from four small plots of ancient ungrafted Verdejo in Alcazarén and fermented with indigenous yeasts in 500- and 600-liter oak barrels, where it matured for 12 months followed by a further 10 months in stainless steel. This is not a shy wine at 14% alcohol, and it has incredible freshness at pH 3.16. It has an explosive, fully open nose, with notes of pollen, cereals, white flowers, freshly cut grass and citrus and an austere palate with chalkiness, a dry finish and very supple flavors. 1,020 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2021.
