Artífice Vidueños Blanco

The white blend 2019 Artífice Vidueños was produced with Marmajuelo, Albillo Criollo, Gual (Boal), Listán Blanco (Palomino) and Forastera Gomera grapes from different vineyards, looking for a more opulent and aromatic wine with more volume but also with more acidity. Each variety fermented separately with indigenous yeasts in 500-liter oak barrels and then the wine was blended and matured in three used 500-liter oak barrels for 12 months. It has a perfumed nose and some medicinal and spicy notes that I also found in the Artífice Listán Blanco. It has a little more structure and mid-palate. 1,850 bottles were filled in January 2021.

Very lively and interesting and complete. Great stuff. Sufficient acidity and lots of fruit. Overlay of sweetness but not a sweet wine. VGV - Very good value.
