Description

Dos Déus Origin was born in Priorat with a clear idea: to create a vermouth with body, complexity and depth, without losing freshness. A vermouth that is young in spirit, but crafted with care, time and a keen eye for balance.

The project experiments with different local grape varieties and different types of ageing to create a complex and sophisticated red vermouth. The key lies in its double ageing: one part matures in sherry barrels and the other in Priorat barrels, before being blended to find the perfect balance. The result is a unique profile, where the natural sweetness of the ageing process is integrated with a precise blend of 40 herbs and spices, including sandalwood, aloe vera and juniper. An exclusive formula that eschews the obvious and focuses on aromatic depth. It is no coincidence that Dos Déus associates this vermouth with Athena, goddess of wisdom: here there are no excesses, only knowledge, strategy and balance.

The nose reveals Mediterranean aromas — muscatel, elderflower, thyme — which blend with spicy notes of clove and nutmeg. On the palate, the vermouth is full-bodied and voluminous, with a sweet attack well supported by lively acidity and elegant bitterness. The finish is long, persistent and distinctly Mediterranean.
