Bodega Lácrima Baccus is the legacy of Cavas Lavernoya, founded in 1890 by the Raventós Poch family, who honoured its name after the Anoia River and its tributary Lavernó, Lavernoya. It is one of the oldest wineries in the Penedès region and is renowned for its production of Cava, one of the country's most important sparkling wines.
