Viñedos de Mancuso started up in the year 2000 under the guidance of the Navascués family and Carlos San Pedro, oenologist at Bodegas y Viñedos Pujanza, with the aim of recovering old Garnacha vines, some of which are over a century old and offering limited production. They carry out minimum intervention oenology with the intention of preserving the Garnacha’s original excellent qualities.
They have 9 hectares in the Jarque de Moncayo district, at an altitude of 800 metres, cultivated on steep slopes with slate soils.
They currently produce a red with great structure and power, Mancuso, and another of somewhat lesser magnitude, Moncaíno, a ‘semi-crianza’ wine with a great balance between fruit and wood.
