The wine
Villa Matilde Cecubo is an intense and highly expressive wine, already appreciated by the ancient Romans, with a dense dark red color. The nose reveals an unmistakable scent of plums, berries, vanilla and cocoa, accompanied by bewitching notes of licorice and tobacco and delicate hints of dried figs. In the mouth it gives sensations of great elegance, softness and structure, with velvety and balanced tannins. Excellent paired with game dishes, roast meats, mature and braised cheeses.
