The wine

Bodegas Mustiguillo has arisen out of Toni Sarrión’s intrinsic passion, natural instinct and own curiosity – this university-educated, young man from Requena, who one fine day caught the ‘bug’ and stopped what he was doing to take up winemaking.

As a result of his efforts, he has managed to raise the Bobal variety to its maximum expression. His vineyards, which came under the category of table wine due to not falling within the D.O. Utiel Requena, have now earned their own recognized geographical status.

Quincha Corral is a single varietal Bobal (100%) which has attained and shows the characteristics of a great wine - powerfulness and delicacy. A complex, concentrated wine yet elegant at the same, which esteems and extols the virtues of this grape and offers an exceptional palate, full of expressive features.

The Bobal reaches its maximum expression here.

NOTE: A long aeration of around 4-5 hours is recommended before serving.

The estate comprises 90 ha of vineyards planted at an altitude of between 800 and 900 metres, with Bobal the predominant grape variety, although Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Garnacha Tintorera are also grown.
