The 2013 Côtes du Roussillon Villages ‘Clos des Fées’ is made from 50% Syrah, 20% Carignan, 20% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre. Today it’s not quiet there yet but in a few year or a decade it will offer even more blackberries, currants, toast, graphite and licorice, all working together to serve you a full-bodied mouth feel, with well-defined fruit and an elegant style. 2013 is considered a good vintage for this region btw.

Clos des Fées is located in the Agly Valley, in the Roussillon region, where the sommelier and wine critic Hervé Bizeul and his wife Claudine settled in 1998, after acquiring 8 hectares of land.
