L'Antana

L'Antana is a merlot monovarietal, blunt and elegant at the same time. It combines the best of the Bordeaux tradition with the kindness of the Penedes climate.

In its elaboration French wood is used, looking for the maximum coherence: French grape, French wood. In glass it boasts an intense purple overlay and huge nose, with a fantastic combination of the roasted aromas of the barrel and a fruit at the right point of maturity. In the mouth it weighs, widens and captivates with its exceptional structure and silky touch. The tannins are abundant but round and a precise acidity makes the whole complex. Some vegetable detail reminds us that we are facing a Mediterranean merlot, and the aromas of wild fruit, cherries and smoked accompany us towards an elegant and very long finish.
