Review

The ruby red color already reveals its concentration. At first glance, the bouquet does not develop completely but in succession releases the typical aromas of a classic "Burgundy". the scent of black cherries and raspberries is underlined by delicate tones of finely spiced vanilla. On the palate this wine, aged in small oak barrels, is well balanced in its components and convincing for an elegant acidity, well integrated tannins and an exceptional aromatic concentration.

The Barthenau Vigna S. Urbano is the expression of a prestigious cru located in the heart of the dedicated area of the Barthenau estate in Mazon, where some of the vines are over 65 years old. Accompanies red meats, game, cheeses that are not too spicy.
