When the vine tells us our history, tracing an Ariadne's thread on a chronological frieze and going back in time ... In the 19th century, in the midst of Romanticism, Alphonse de Lamartine, a close friend of the owner at the time, came to find the inspiration here, in Portets, at the Château de l'Hospital, which had seen the light of day two years before the French Revolution. This land was also the only vineyard property in Roman times. Since its takeover in 2012, the priority of the new team has been RESPECT: respect for the soil, respect for the vineyard, its environment… and those who work there.
