Gianfranco Fino Es più Sole

From a vineyard over sixty on red lands in the countryside of Manduria, Es più Sole is certainly one of the most significant sweet reds in Italy. The Primitivo grapes, harvested late after a rigorous drying process on the plant, give the wine a bright purple dress and dense and very ample aromas of cherry, black cherry, cinnamon, clove, roots, aromatic herbs, eucalyptus, leather. The taste is pulpy and silky, the true quintessence of classic Primitivo, but also fresh and subtle, with noble tannins and infinite persistence.
