The wine
Made from dried grapes of the variety bearing its name, Pedro Ximenez, this is an incredibly sweet wine that, after three decades of barrel ageing, has developed unique aromas and flavours, a very dark shade of deep mahogany in colour, immediately noticeable from its appearance, like all the wines pertaining to the select Antique range.

Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla
Fernando de Castilla is a small, century-old winery headed up today by a young team that has been keen to maintain the company’s family-run profile. Although it began by making Jerez brandy, it currently produces a wide range of medium and high class products, such as the prestigious Antique line, offering Fino, Oloroso, Amontillado, Palo Cortado and Pedro Ximenez sherry.
