Decent entry-wine to pecorino from renowned producer
Producer who revived pecorino variety in Abruzzo in 90. Lemon-green colour, not very complex but clean nose: fresh herbs, lemon peel, buttery notes coming from malolactic fermentation and ageing on lees. Quite full-bodied, oily and intense, citrus and herbal with some bitter lemon peel aftertaste. Medium length. Good basic wine, drink now or within 1-2 years.
