Review

Castello di Volpaia Chianti Classico is a rich and captivating red wine with an intense ruby color. The nose recognizes strong notes of red fruit and cherries in alcohol. In the mouth it reveals good structure and softness, with a fruity aftertaste. Excellent served on cold cuts, first courses of meat, risotto of land, braised meats, game, grilled meat and aged cheeses.

    Absolutely fabulous 2015 Chianti Classico

This offer all the positive elements the warmer 2015 wintage brought. More density, just right amout of ripeness and just a bit darker fruit profile. All this without loosing the structure, relative lightness and absolute food friendliness. This drinks well with aeration but will improve in bottle atleast for the next 5 years and drink well another 5.

    Volpaia 2018
