The Bindella story is one of many involving visionary investors, in this case Swiss, who fell in love with the land of Tuscany and chose to bring out the best of their vineyards. From then on, more than thirty years later, the winery has risen to the highest quality and prestige in its production, being today one of the greatest exponents of the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.
I Quadri, along with its sibling Vallocaia, is one of the winery's most prize-winning products. In the glass it appears a bright ruby colour, so deep and appealing; on the nose, it comes over as rich and elegant, with notes of red fruits, cocoa, cloves and liquorice in a bouquet of extraordinary complexity. The local climate, ideal due to its broad temperature range, and the merits of the terroir, at 400 metres above sea level and with clay soils typical of the Montepulciano hills, endow the wines with a distinctive finesse on the palate.
This is a Vino Nobile as rich and full as it is fresh and mineral. Flavoursome, with silky, enveloping tannins, and an elegance which does not fade over the years. The ideal bottle for a fine meal, to accompany the most elaborate and rich dishes.
