The wine
A single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon that has spent time in barrel, discerned from the golden flecks evident in the dark cherry-red hue of this wine. The initial aromas of violets and ripe fruit give way to hints of cedar, spices and smoky notes. Full on the palate, there is plenty of length and persistence.
Aged for 6 months in new oak barrels, and racked after 3 months.
