A wine exuding aromas of exotic fruits, vegetation and freshly mown grass. Full, frank and fresh on the palate, with a long, dry finish.
Made using grapes from old vines located in different parcels, with very limited production.
Aged on its lees for several months, until shortly before bottling.

The winery
Bodegas y Viñedos Shaya
This winery arose from the joining together of several wine professionals coming from different areas but with the same interests: the Gil family of Jumilla, Jorge Ordóñez and Enrique Busto. It is located in the far south-west of Segovia province, within the Rueda DO, and has 30.5 ha of very old Verdejo vineyards that are low-yielding (2.5 t/ha), and planted with bush vines (many ungrafted) on sandy soils.
