The wine

The history of Rocca delle Macìe is in fact closely linked with this Chianti Classico which has evolved over the years following on the one hand the changes due to its disciplinary and on the other the technical improvements adopted in the vineyards, from replanting, to the study of the land. and the use of the new clonal selections of Sangiovese. Today we have a wine that expresses character, freshness and terroir.

At sight it has a lively ruby red color. Fruity aroma with a hint of light spice coming from the wood used for aging. The taste is savory and well structured, with good aromatic persistence. Excellent with traditional dishes such as ribollita or a Florentine tripe. Perfect in combination with red meat dishes.
