Better than I expected on pouring.
Better than I expected on pouring. More like a Frappato than a Nero d'Avola. Clear red colour on pouring. Cherry aromas but not too strong. Tastes of cherry, strawberry and vanilla. Medium body, tame tannins and average acidity make this an easy drink. Not particularly memorable which is why it gets 3 stars for me but it does make a nice change to the fuller bodied reds I normally drink. Worth trying another.
This wine was interesting with its lightness and depth. However I am not sure it represents great value as there are many fine Italian wines from Vinissimus which are just as enjoyable at a lower price
