The wine
Poggio alle Gazze dell'Ornellaia owes its elegant Mediterranean style to the unique microclimate of the estate. This authentic gift of nature allows us to produce a wine, mainly obtained from Sauvignon Blanc grapes, which boasts a sumptuous structure and ripe fruity notes combined in a style of great elegance.
Poggio alle Gazze dell'Ornellaia is straw yellow in color. Intense aromas of white-fleshed fruit develop, accompanied by delicate vanilla notes. On the palate it is large and soft with great richness and marked flavor which leads to a fresh and beautiful persistence.

Tenuta dell'Ornellaia
The winery was founded in 1951 in a beautiful area of Tuscany. Right from the start, its main priority has been to produce outstanding wines, which could only be achieved with consummate passion and dedication, a singular terroir and an excellent micro-climate.
