The wine
La Gerla Brunello is an engaging wine with a fine structure, with a ruby red aspect tending to garnet. The nose reveals an ethereal scent that is declined in fascinating shades of violet and iris, with hints of fruits of the undergrowth. In the mouth it offers a warm, velvety taste, balance of fabric and backbone. Excellent in combination with red meats, preferably game.
