The wine

In Alto Adige Lagrein is a native vine; in particular that of Colterenzio has an intense garnet red color with violet reflections. The nose stands out for violet, black berries, notes of chocolate and intense spicy aromas. Powerful passage in the mouth with well-structured tannins and the typical acidity of the grape. Aromas of berries and cherry on the aftertaste. It stands out in particular for its elegance and its unparalleled bouquet that impresses experts. Lagrein is one of the most important Italian red wines. Perfect in combination with South Tyrolean cuisine. Ideal with speck and cured meats but especially roast meats and game. In general it is a very versatile wine.
