Villa Lanata

Villa Lanata is located in Cossano Belbo, in the heart of the Langhe World Heritage vineyards, and was built around 1880 by Cardinal Giovanni Battista Lanata, an illustrious prelate from Genoa, who made it his summer residence. Today, Villa Lanata has returned to its former glory thanks to the passion and dedication of the Martini family, who took over the property in the 1970s and who constitute one of the most important groups in the Italian beverage industry. Today, the villa is a very rare example of Genovese architecture in the heart of the Langa, and is the centre of more than 53 hectares of vineyards planted with Moscato, Chardonnay and local red grapes.
