For four generations the Vietti family has been producing wines in Castiglione Falletto, a small medieval village situated in the centre of one of the most propitious areas of the Langhe for the cultivation of vines, the "Barolo area". In 1957 Alfredo Currado married Luciana Vietti and since 1960, after the death of his father-in-law, the family business continued, focusing production more and more towards high quality and positioning the winery among the best in the Langhe, starting since then to export its products to important foreign markets.

Art lovers, Luciana and Alfredo also started an interesting experiment on their labels, giving life to bottles with more and more interesting and creative decorations. Today the winery is owned by the American group Krause but the oenological management is entrusted to the knowing hands of Luca Currado. The new management has further expanded the already large big baggage of owned vineyards, which now covers many of the most legendary crus of the Langhe and Barolo in particular.

Rocche, Ravera, Lazzarito, Villero, Brunate are names that provide the enthusiast countless facets of Nebbiolo. The style, despite the wider commercial scope of the winery, has remained traditional. Therefore, long barrel aging and an austere, solid and compact register, all focused on evolution and which softens over time. In addition to the cru, we should mention the Barolo Castiglione, a blend of various plots of land that always ranks among the best in the denomination, the Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco, a true "barolino" with two years of wood behind it, and finally the Arneis, which as its call card, boasts the highest awards among Piedmontese whites every year.
