The southern Tuscan coast, in southern Maremma, is one of the jewels of the Italian coast. But here, a few kilometres from Argentario, there is also one of the most interesting areas for regional wine. And, in fact, the Marchesi de' Frescobaldi have decided to set up a splendid estate, where you can experience the total beauty of this maritime area: the Tenuta Ammiraglia.
A top-class cellar, a veritable design jewel and functionality, surrounded by splendid vineyards that descend almost to the Tyrrhenian. Green and blue, which dominate this corner of Maremma, can be called the symbolic colours of the estate, where aromas and flavours come together in unmistakable class.
Conceived to reinterpret Tuscany in a lighter and more carefree perspective, the wines of Tenuta Ammiraglia enhance the best of the Tyrrhenian coast. There is a Vermentino, Massovivo, of incredible olfactory richness, with notes of candied fruit and magical mineral whiffs. For lovers of strong flavours, there is the Terre More, a Bordeaux blend based on Cabernet that combines elegance and modern taste. But perhaps the masterpiece in the area is the rosé, with the splendid Alìe, which satisfies with its subtle elegance, a class expressed in a framework of salinity and minerality which naturally evoke a summery, playful and carefree mood.
